Winston is a 4-yr. old male Jack Russell Terrier. He was adopted from a shelter as a puppy by an individual who had no business owning a dog. Winston loves going to dog parks to interact with other dogs and is doing will playing with the other dogs. He does have one fear, and that is BIG WHITE DOGS only. Otherwise, he gets along with all other dogs. Winston will do best in a home with someone who works from home or a very active senior citizen. Winston should not be left along more than 3 hrs.
Winston is neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccinations including rabies. He has tested negative to heart worms and free of internal parasites. Winston is currently on heart worm and flea preventative.

Darwin is a 5-yr. old male Shih Tzu mix whose owner recently passed away. The deceased owner had no family members, so Darwin and his big brother Champ (a 50 lb. Lab mix) was confiscated by Pasco County Animal Services. Both dogs sat in the shelter, when Darwin was pulled first by our rescue Hope Helps All. Champ followed a week later to his foster home.
Darwin is very much a love bug and a lap dog. He loves giving kisses and having his belly rubbed. Darwin will occasionally play with doggie toys and is a very good boy. He is completely house trained.
The shelter noted no health issues, but his foster mom noticed his wobbly walk on uneven surfaces like grass, otherwise on floors he's good. After 2 orthopedic vets and 1 regular vet, they all concluded that Darwin in not a candidate for surgery. His breeding was bad that resulted in several health issues. In his back, there are 2 fused vertebrates and 1 disc slightly out of place. His hips are somewhat deformed causing his rear knees to pop out of place at different times and his front legs are bowed. No surgery can fix what is going on with him. He will be on Carprofen long term.
Darwin is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, heartworm negative and free of internal parasites. He is current on heartworm and flea prevention and his adoption donation is $200.
